Nope! All required fishing licenses are provided by Capt Dan.
The maximum number of passengers is 6. However, the boat fishes best with 1 – 4 anglers.
Of course! Any fish that we can legally keep and you want to eat can be kept. We do encourage catch and release fishing when the box is filling up and we have enough meat for you to take home. We will clean and bag your catch once back at the dock, so please bring a cooler in your car to transport your fresh fish home.
We leave the dock at 7:00AM for full day offshore trips, morning half-day trips, and all swordfish trips, so please be at the marina by 6:45AM. For afternoon half-day trips, we leave at 12:00PM, so please be at the marina by 11:45AM.
You can easily book your trip by calling 727-647-8679.

Yes, fuel and all other costs are included in the charter rates you see here. The only additional cost is the customary 15-20% tip paid directly to the crew. Our crew rely on these tips as their main source of income.
Add an answer to this item. Sorry, but no. They call it fishing, not catching for a reason! However, you can be assured that we will work as hard as possible to ensure you have an awesome and memorable day on the water, whether the fishing action is frenzied or we have to work extra hard at it.
Any long range weather forecast is worthless. About 2 days in advance of your trip, we will have a pretty good idea of what the day’s weather will bring. We will do all we can to fish safely and comfortably. We will normally fish in winds up to 15-20 knots. If it is a windy day, we may alter our plan and fish in a different area or use different fishing methods as dictated by the weather. If the weather is deemed too rough to fish anywhere, we will cancel the trip. All trip cancellations are at the sole discretion of Capt Dan.
All deposits are fully refundable if the charter is canceled 10 days prior to the trip or if your captain cancels the trip due to weather or any other reason.
We will supply a safe, clean, and professionally rigged boat as well as all fishing tackle, equipment, and fishing licenses. We also have bottled water and sodas on board for you to enjoy. Please, no glass bottles or spray on sunscreen.
Bring a great attitude and be ready to have an awesome day! We love fishing here and we hope you will too! In addition to that, sunscreen, sunglasses, non-marking shoes, and clothing appropriate for the day’s weather is recommended. You are welcome to bring snacks or lunch, we can keep it on ice in our onboard cooler. No personal coolers are allowed on the boat, but we do have plenty of cold storage. You are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages and enjoy them in moderation. If any passengers become unruly for any reason, the boat will return to the dock immediately and no refunds will be provided. We fish in an open, center console boat, so a windbreaker or rain jacket is often nice to have. Please remember a 15-20% tip for the crew is customary. Our captains and mates rely on this tip as their main source of income. Please, no glass bottles or spray on sunscreen.
No illegal drugs of any kind are allowed on board. We fish in federal waters, so state laws do not apply. Please, no glass bottles of any kind and no spray on sunscreen is allowed. That’s it!
